Sewing Day

On the school holidays my daughter Mia begged Nanna and myself to make this owl she found in a book called "We Love To Sew", by Annabel Wrigley. It turned out to be the perfect sewing project for the kids as it was something they could finish in the one day. We all had so much fun making them and the kids proudly placed them on their bed when finished. I think they did an amazing job!

New Painting

Finished my latest painting today. It's called "Another Day in Paradise", Rottnest. Now putting my thinking cap on for my next painting...

Oh my goodness!!! For almost a year I have been trying to access my blog account with no luck because of some technical issue with signing out. I was finally able to fix it tonight which means I can now post again. Yay! So in celebration I have posted a photo I took of flowers from our garden I had on our table for a Sunday Easter lunch. The drought of posts have ended!!

Yallingup, Western Australia

It's been quite a while since we last loaded up the van and trekked down South to one of my favourite places in the world, Yallingup. As we went during the Easter time we were lucky to get a last minute booking for 3 nights, but pure luck was on our side and we were able to be in one of the best units for views. We ate at some stunning wineries, we drank, we ate some more, and breathed in the amazing sea air, and the kids did what kids are meant to do. Play outdoors barefoot on grass. Now I would have showed more pictures of the coast and the amazing sunsets, but I accidentally deleted just about all my photos! I was slightly devastated but it just means we have to go down again right?
